AN 84 YEAR OLD LIFE MODEL TELLS US WHAT HER LIFE AND BODY ARE REALLY ABOUT.
This portrait film by Lithuanian born, UK based filmmaker Greta Griniute captures 84-year-old female life model Diana Mukuma, while she shares her thoughts and feelings on what her body means to her and the many lives it’s led.
Greta Griniute 'Now more than ever, the anxieties and insecurities after months of quarantine are all rising to the surface. Our bodies carry us through life and, as such, it is so important to discuss their value and purpose without talking about six-packs and detoxes. As a filmmaker, I feel that we rarely discuss the essence of our bodies and their value in our day to day lives. But it’s our physical and mental health that matter most. This documentary draws a real picture of a real body and gives voice to someone otherwise unheard.'
